This is super weird and unusual. Sony Alpha Ambassador Felipe Dana first teased a box containing a “mysterious” new camera. After getting a ton of messages he had to unveil that this box only contains the already announced new Sony FX2.
So folks, rather disappointing “teaser” campaign from Felipe :)
But do not despair, facts are facts and Sony did register two new camera in May! So for sure we can expect some new Alpha models to be announced within 3-4 months!
AP photographer, Pulitzer winner and Sony Ambassador Felipe Dana just dropped a bomb teaser on his Instagram stories account . He shared images of a box of what he calls a new “mysterious” Sony Alpha model. He writes this is a new Sony model named “Xxxxxx”. On the box itself you read “Xxxxxx Xxxx XXX”. I have no idea yet what this stands for yet.

This is not hard to figure out. I just looked at the
Sigma has increased the price of all its lenses. You can check out the new 10% increase on these pages at BHphoto , Amazon , and Adorama . In nominal terms the biggest price increase is obviously on the 300-600mm lens which now costs + $600.
Since the political situation is completely unpredictable at the moment, it is difficult to speculate whether tariffs will soon be abolished or whether the situation will worsen further with the introduction of even higher tariffs…

If you order the Sony A1II at Adorama today…you will get it only in August. BHphoto only shows the note “Back-ordered” while Amazon is still not taking preorders. Same story outside of the US with no delivery time unveiled at FotoErhardt , FotoKoch , Calumet , WexUK , Clifton , CameraPro . Sony Australia .
