Tokina has discontinued production of the atx-m 85mm F1.8 FE lens . Rumor has it that this lens was actually manufactured by Viltrox. Now that the Chinese company has a good reputation, I think they no longer need the partnership with Tokina. Viltrox already sells its own 85mm lens under its own name .

1) Near SAME Sony A1 pricing: I got the Sony A1II pricing info for Europe: It’s 7.499 EUR. Back when the Sony A1 was launched in 2021 the camera had a price tag of 7.299 EUR. So this means we “only” got a 200 Euro increase that is definitely also
