• Fixes the following issues with the ISO value :
  • The ISO value is displayed incorrectly when outputting a RAW video to a RAW-compatible device connected via an HDMI cable
  • The upper and lower limit setting ranges are incorrect when the ISO value is set to Auto
• Fixes an issue where the camera may not be able to connect to the network
• Improves the operational stability of the camera

The multi-year long rumored Canon R1 has been finally announce…or more like pre-announced! From the press release it sounds likely this camera will be on market by early 2025 and that’s also when I heard that Sony might announce the new Sony A1II.

• It’s going to use a new CMOS sensor (so no global shutter)
• Uses the same “old” Digic X

A couple of SAR readers noticed you can get the Sony 300mmf /2.8 GM for $4,799 only at Adorama (Click here) . But folks, I hate to kill your dreams…I am sure this is a “glitch in the Matrix”. So if you preorder the lens make sure you contact Adorama and ask them what’s going on. Don’t know if they are “obliged” to give you the lens for the listed price…

About those rumors: I have no idea who sent them and 90% of the times they turn out to be wrong. But, it happened in the past that a couple of those were right. So I will post them today, and we all together can eventually keep track of this. If one of the sources turns out to be right than we will know we can trust it a bit more!
