First images of the new Typoch 24-50mm f/2.8 FE autofocus lens!

Here are the first images of the soon the be announced new Typoch 24-50mm f/2.8 FE autofocus lens ! The company is well known for making excellent M-mount lenses (you can find them here). So it’s a big surprise to see them make the jump to autofocus lenses—and an even bigger surprise that they decided to make a zoom!

Some wild rumors about new Sony 400mm and 600mm Fresnel lenses?

I heard this somewhat unusual rumor from a new source. So it should be taken with a grain of salt. But I wanted to ask if you would be happy if it turned out to be true:

I just returned from a West famous national park where I ran into a Sony professional photographer that is also a field tester of Sony gear. He mentioned that Sony is currently field testing  400 and 600 mm lenses that are 3/4 of the length of the current ones. Sony provides him


Sony FX6 gets massive 6.0 firmware update

The nearly six years old Sony FX6 got a big boost with firmware 6.0 ( download here ). Almost makes me think there is no successor coming any time soon!

Benefits and Improvements
