Oppo announces MariSilicon X, a self-made imaging NPU chipset

Intel's first foray into the metaverse will be software to use others' chips - Reuters

Dec 13 (Reuters) - In their first public comments on its strategy for tapping into the "metaverse," Intel Corp (INTC.O) executives said the firm is working on software that will help laptops tap into computing power from other devices, including chips from its rivals.

While the definition of "metaverse" is broad, it generally refers to immersive virtual worlds that will be accessed via the internet and a variety of devices, like virtual reality headsets.

The trend is expected to require vastly more computing

MSI Z690 Godlike Motherboard Features Detachable Touchscreen Display

MSI has teased the MEG Z690 Godlike for the past few months, but the company is now giving us the most comprehensive look at one of its headline features: the onboard display. We previously learned from leaks that the LCD measures 3.5 inches across and includes touch support; however, MSI today confirmed that the display is also detachable.
