Edward Noble shared several ideas on how Sony could enhance the future A7cRII.

With the A7CR’s slow sensor readout making silent shooting almost impossible and the physical shutter cutting the bokeh in half in bright conditions, I would love to see Sony’s 50mp stacked sensor in a body like this. If they were to do this, I would also love to see a grip closer to the one used on the A9III, but otherwise keeping the general shape of the A7C

Phototrend published these photos of a new Samyang AF 35mm f/1.8 P FE lens displayed last week at the CP+ show. Some info:

• modernized design with a wider textured focus ring;
• template almost identical to the 85 and 16 mm ones from the same series;
• USB-C port, as well as an AF/MF switch.

Phototrend had a chat with Kim Dubin, head of product planning at Samyang. He shared the following details about the mockup lenses Samyang displayed at the CP+ show:

20-50mm f/2 FE AF lens:

It is reportedly still at an early stage of development, and its launch would not be expected before 2028 or 2029. Due to its wider aperture, this zoom would be larger and heavier than the current 24-60 mm.
