Man seriously injured in Queen West stabbing

A man was rushed to a hospital Saturday morning after being stabbed in downtown Toronto.

Emergency crews were called to the area of Queen Street West and Spadina Avenue shortly after 10:45 a.m.

When officers arrived at the scene, they located one victim with stab wounds. He was transported to a hospital in serious condition.

Police have not released any suspect information.

A Toronto man who is accused of sexually assaulting multiple women in the downtown core was arrested and charged this week.

According to investigators, the assaults happened on public transit between the morning hours of 8 a.m. and noon on Thursday, July 2.

Police are investigating after multiple homes in Scarborough were damaged in a shooting late Friday evening.

Authorities were called to the area of Brenyon Way and Sewells Road just after 11 p.m. for reports of a shooting in a residential neighbourhood.
