2 injured in Mississauga stabbing
Two people are injured following a late-night stabbing in Mississauga.
Peel Regional Police officers were called to the area of Dundas Street West and Sir John’s Homestead, near Erin Mills Parkway, just after 11 p.m. on Sunday.
Police say two people were stabbed and paramedics transported one person to a trauma centre with serious injuries. They are now listed in stable condition.
A second person was also taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police have not released any details on suspects or arrests in connection

A Toronto police officer was seriously injured early Monday after being struck by a vehicle during an attempted traffic stop connected to a reported vehicle theft, an incident police say is linked to an earlier shooting involving a victim under 18 years old .
Police were called to the area of Donlands Avenue and O’Connor Drive at 1:04 a.m. for a report of a stolen vehicle. According to investigators, officers attempted to stop the vehicle when shots were fired toward the vehicle.

Youth injured in overnight shooting in East York
A 13‑year‑old youth is in hospital after an overnight shooting in East York that Toronto police now say is connected to a separate confrontation on the Leaside Bridge involving a seriously injured officer.
Emergency crews were called to the area of Mortimer Avenue and Donlands Avenue around 1 a.m. Monday for reports of gunfire. Paramedics confirmed they transported one patient to the hospital with non‑life‑threatening injuries.
Police later told 680 NewsRadio the person shot is 13 years old.
