Toronto police have made two arrests connected to a human trafficking investigation that began in March in Toronto and Ajax involving a 27-year-old victim.
Police allege the two accused trafficked the victim through a combination of deception, coercion and control. It is also alleged that the victim was taken to different locations to meet clients to perform sexual services and the money earned by the victim was surrendered to the accused and kept by them.

York Regional Police (YRP) investigators are asking the public for help in identifying a suspect who allegedly committed two indecent acts in Markham on Friday and Saturday.
Police say a person was walking in the area of Hillcroft Drive and Gillingham Avenue at around 1:20 a.m. on Friday when the suspect, naked from the waist down, began following them on foot. The suspect fled when the alleged victim called police.
A second incident allegedly involving the same suspect was reported the next day around 1 a.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers were called to a stretch of the highway near Newtonville Road just after 11:30 a.m. on Monday.
Police say a vehicle was travelling east when it lost one of its tires and wheel assembly that then crossed into the westbound lanes, hitting another vehicle.

41 Canadian-linked victims and suspects potentially identified in international drug-facilitated sex assault networks investigation
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) say they have potentially identified 41 Canadian-linked victims and perpetrators in a multinational initiative that targets online networks connected to drug-facilitated sexual assault (DFSA).
The initiative, dubbed Project Medusa, aims to identify and disrupt such networks with a focus on offences in intimate-partner settings and facilitated through online communities. It is led by the U.K. and Germany and supported by Europol. Several other partner countries are also participating including Canada.

Police allege Saskatchewan Roughriders player Jayden Dalke was driving on the wrong side of the highway when his vehicle crashed into another northwest of Regina on Saturday, killing both drivers.
Lumsden RCMP also allege they found alcohol and cannabis in Dalke’s vehicle.
